It is hard to put into words what the intervention achieved for our family. From the initial observations and report onwards it was highly tailored to the needs of our family. Dr Giulia was able to tease out the complex dynamics and demonstrate what was happening, things that we couldn’t see. She built a programme that was entirely tailored to us, from identifying the abuse that existed in our family, explaining it, devising strategies to overcome it and healthy practices to prevent it from taking hold again. Dr Giulia is challenging, and that isn’t always easy. But she had prepared us for what to expect, and she was always very careful and attentive to our needs.
